The Metabo WEP 19-150 Q M-Brush Angle Grinder is German engineered and manufactured for safety, productivity and extreme durability in a broad range of industrial grinding, cutting, beveling and deburring applications. The powerful long-life 14.5 Amp, AC, 9,600 RPM motor with the unique M-Brush System (patent pending) offers up to three times the lifetime of a standard angle grinder, reduced downtime, increased productivity and lower overall tool lifetime cost. With 1,900 W, the tool provides plenty of power for operation in extreme production grinding and cutting applications. Electronic features include tacho-constamatic (TC) speed stabilization for highest productivity, overload protection, power interruption protection and soft start. The grinder’s safety is enhanced by the patented Metabo S-Automatic safety slip clutch which reduces the likelihood of kickback by helping the user maintain control if the accessory jams. The ergonomic Non-locking paddle switch is designed to reduce fatigue and de-energize the motor immediately upon release for enhanced operator safety. Productivity is maximized with the M-Quick System for fastest tool-free wheel change at the touch of the large spindle lock button. For cooler operation and extended longevity in demanding working environments the patented motor includes: unobstructed rear air intake, optimized internal air flow, and epoxy coated copper windings that extend outside of the field coil for advanced heat dissipation and protection from abrasion. In addition, the winding protection grid extends the life of the armature up to five times in harsh environments. The rubberized MVT anti-vibration side handle is designed with a bulb-shaped grip and 15° offset to provide optimal handling, reduced fatigue, and excellent ergonomics by distributing forces evenly across the hand, lowering the risk of long-term work-related disorders of the hand, wrist and arm. The tool features a tool-free adjustable guard for convenient positioning and safety when grinding and cutting. The die-cast aluminum gear housing is designed to dissipate heat from the motor, features oversized bearings and heavy-duty gearing, and is rotatable in 90° steps to allow for multiple switch positions. For operation in harsh environments the tool can be equipped with a filter to protect the motor from grinding swarf, increasing service life (filter sold separately).
